Our Team

The size and make up of  our team varies depending on the clients that we have. At times we have had up to nine staff. That included web developers, sales people, content writers and all sorts of other staff too. These days such specialists are not required for SEO in our opinion. Strategy is what is important.

Our talk is always straight, so you won’t catch us talking ‘smoke and mirror’ tactics like some of our SEO competitors. Direct answers to any question is what you want and that is what you will get from us.

After 18 years as Rank First, we have built some very strong connections with web developers, social media experts, coding nerds, Google Ads professionals, content creators and so much more. instead of limiting results to in house staff, when necessary, we contract specific tasks to trusted professionals.

As its founder, Troy has been with Rank First from the start. Which is just a portion of the almost 20 year he’s spent in the SEO industry. When he isn’t busy working on client projects, Troy enjoys a wholesome lifestyle that is equal parts gardening, enjoying the beach, and raising a happy, healthy family. The best way to explain his passion for the business? He always gets a kick out of seeing his clients’ companies succeed.

Zak has over ten years’ experience as a software engineer and has been part of our SEO to the team at Rank First for a long time now. he is great at trouble shooting problems, creating sound SEO strategies and implementing the day to day work that actually gets results. Trustworthy, reliable and always acting in the clients best interests.

Yes, we use AI to help our clients be found on Google. Unashamedly. Claude helps to create content, find website errors, create coding and all the other stuff that used to take forever, but now happens in seconds. Without Claude our prices would be higher and the results would not be as good. Your competitors are using AI and we are using it too. It would be irresponsible otherwise.
